Fun freebie.....August Desktop Calendar!
Seems like the summer is flying by even faster than usual.....can't believe its August already! Only one month left before my kiddo heads back to school (he'll be in 5th grade this year)! Something I've been meaning to work on all summer is creating a computer desktop wallpaper calendar, but time kept getting away from me.....I ended up just biting the bullet and staying up late last night and did it. Pretty tickled with how it turned out too! I was inspired by my artist friend Michelle Allen, who started doing them a few months back. I probably won't be able to keep this up as a monthly thing, but occasionally I'd like to create one of these for y'all so you can inject a little "joyful light" into your days. :)

Valentine's day digi stamp freebie download
hey y'all! hope you're having a wonderful wednesday! i spent most of mine with a sweet new artist friend. we lost all track of time and what felt like an hour was, in reality, THREE! lol! can't wait 'til we can get together again....we talked about painting together next time, so i gotta get my act together and get my studio cleaned up 'cause you can barely walk in there.... ...yet again. lol!
yeah, i create chaos when i paint....and it drives my hubby nuts 'cause my studio is the first thing you see when you walk in our front door {it used to be our dining room....now its my painting studio and it doesn't have a door}.
but i digress....
what i really came here to post about was a fun little freebie for y'all. for a few weeks now, i've had in my head that i wanted to create something that was downloadable for people who are paper crafters, card makers, and scrapbookers....in other words, all those super fabulous craft artists out there! :D
so what i've done is created a digi stamp from one of my newest drawings for you to use in your paper crafts. cool right? i thought so too! i'm super excited about the prospect and possibilities of this new venture and want to start offering digi stamps for sale in the very near future, so this is a little preview of what's to come....

the future digi stamps will feature my girls with their whimsical contemporary style and sketchy/hand drawn look.....normally they won't have text like this free digi stamp.
below the preview pic, you will find a link to the full size .PNG file, which is at 300 dpi and is approximately 3"x6" in size. "right click" the link to save the file to your computer. this free digi stamp is designed to be like a ready made valentine's card....just print on cardstock + add color with markers or pencils...and voila! you've got a sweet little card with your own personal touch. you can give it just like that or add it to a handmade card with embellishments. so fun! you can even add it to your valentine scrapbook layouts!
all i ask is that you come back here and post a link in the comments of this post {or post a pic on my facebook fan page} to what you make with it...even if its just coloring it in....i wanna see! oh and i'm hoping to put together a little design team for this new venture once it gets underway. :D
