Contemporary Abstract Painter Paulette Insall's paintings come from her heart....expressing emotion as a visual language, using pure color and expressive marks to connect and communicate. Her abstract art emits a special light and magic that is both spiritual and moving.
Hey y'all! Well the sickies visited us again...starting on Thursday when Aiden woke up with a nasty cough, poor guy. The same day, my hubby had some dental surgery done and I had no idea (and neither did he apparently) that he wouldn't be able to have any solid foods for days and possibly up to a week. Eek! Then of course I came down with Aiden's cold...which of course was inevitable.
Needless to say, no video editing or art got done late last week or this weekend. I did manage to get some editing done today and I realized with as much footage as I have that I want to show you guys, I think I may have to make it a three parter. I had hoped to be able to do just one video for this painting, but even with it sped up to hyper speed and some parts edited out, it would be almost 30 minutes long.....so I hope you guys don't mind if I split it up. This way I can make each one a bigger file size so that the video will be pretty clear....well as clear as YouTube makes it anyway. If all goes well, I should have the first part up on YouTube some time tomorrow. Can't say exactly when 'cause I never can predict those things with a four year old running around ya know. ;)
So, keep checking back here tomorrow (Tuesday) or on YouTube so you can catch the first episode.
This was the state of my shipping table yesterday afternoon as I tried to get caught up on shipping...I'm running a few days behind, but I managed to get all finished up today. So all orders placed prior to January 5th are now on their way. Thanks so much for your patience. :)
I'm now shipping all art prints in boxes to make sure that they get to you safely. The post office is not always careful with packages, so this gives the prints extra protection on their journey and gives me more peace of mind.
So much more to tell, but the dirty dishes are calling my name...
Just popping in really quick to let you know that I'm okay....my plate's just really full at the moment (in a good way). Aiden's first day back at preschool was today and I totally forgot that they had chapel today as well, so of course I wanted to stay for that and now I don't have much time to paint. Oh well...lots of news to share, but just don't have the time now...hopefully I can get back on later today and update ya'll on everything's that's been going on since the first of the year.
Now I gotta go get the camcorder set up so I can get to filming for my next video....yep another YouTube video coming soon. :) Plus I'm planning on having the webcam up again on either Friday or Monday. Yea!
Oh and if you've emailed me, I'm waaaaaay behind on replying to email so please bear with me. I read each and every one, but it may take me a while to reply. And some are even getting automatically sent to the spam folder unfortunately and I'm afraid I haven't caught all of those. So if you don't hear from me within a week or so, please email me again just in case your message got mistakenly caught by the spam filter.
Ok, really gotta get to work now ya'll...more later I promise!! xo
Things are super busy around here making preparations for Christmas. It's why I've been so scarce lately. Of course it's left pretty much no time for art, so nothing new to share, but hopefully will have a little time later this week. In the meantime, here's a little Christmas cheer from Aiden...
Aiden's preschool Christmas program was today. They were all so very
adorable!!! You can barely see Aiden in this pic. He's the shortest in
his class and they put him in the middle of the back row. One of his
teachers tried to get him to stand on something, but he would have
nothing of it. *hee, hee*
